Your booking card on the WeDrive Australia App provides your driver’s name and photo. Furthermore, he/she will contact you on approach and on arrival.

Your can rely on their driving skills and road knowledge as our designated drivers have minimum 5 years Australian driving experience (usually much more), clean insurance and driving records. Our vetting processes ensure our drivers have clear criminal checks.

Please note: There are two driving roles with WeDrive Australia. Designated Drivers (drivers who drive our clients' vehicles) and Co-Drivers (drivers who drive Designated Drivers to and from client locations using their own vehicles).
For Designated Drivers, you must hold a valid Australian State or Territory full car driving licence with minimum 5 years experience in Australia. There are no restrictions for Co-Drivers, however you should have an Australian licence.
All drivers are required to provide us with a copy of their Drivers Licence, Criminal history record, references from previous employers and a comprehensive driving history from relevant authorities (such as Vic Roads in Victoria).
• Designated Driver at Fault
WeDrive Australia PTY LTD carries a fully comprehensive Motor Driving Risk Policy. In the unlikely event of a responsible accident our contracted driver, WeDrive Australia Pty Ltd’s insurance will cover the cost of repair to, or replacement of, the customer’s car up to a value of $75,000. In the unlikely event of damage or replacement of a car valued over $75,000, WeDrive Australia Pty Ltd will pay the customer’s insurance policy excess up to the value of $1,500 or pay a reasonable amount for minor damages, direct to an accredited repairer up to $1,500. WeDrive Australia Pty Ltd may involve services of an independent and qualified Motor Loss Assessor in determining such repair costs at its own discretion.
• Third Party at Fault
Claims are made on Client’s insurance policy against the third party. WeDrive Australia Pty Ltd or its drivers will not be liable for any repair/ replacement costs.
• Uninsured Vehicles
WeDrive Australia Pty Ltd or its drivers will not be liable for any repair/ replacement costs.
All journeys and changes to routes must be recorded in WeDrive Booking System and booking acknowledgements are advised to clients (through formal communications channels) in order to be covered by WeDrive Australia Pty Ltd insurance policy.
WeDrive Australia holds a $ 20,000,000 public liability insurance.

Prices start at $35 and include the first 5 kilometre radius from pick-up point. Please visit www.wedrive.com.au to check the rates specific to your Service Point.
Fare is agreed up front and unlike cabs, no time based charges for waiting in traffic once a journey commences.
We also offer 10 minute grace period before waiting charges are applied.

Please note payments made with an Amex card will incur an additional 2% surcharge. There is no surcharge for Visa or Mastercard.
Unlike some transporting services, we don't take scenic routes and fares are agreed upon before departure based on the shortest route between pick-up and destination points. Have a sleep. We'll wake you up on arrival!!! Your car will be there for you on the following day after a good night sleep! Remember, we never charge for heavy traffic waiting time.
Small charges may occur for en-route drop-offs, pick-ups. Please advise us or let your driver know at the start of the journey or at the time of booking if you need to drop friends off.

You must modify your booking at least 2 hours before your departure time. Please call our office on 1300 WE DRIVE (1300 933 748) during office hours and we will inform the driver of the new time and location. Should you wish to modify your booking vai the WeDrive Australia App, you will need to first cancel your initial booking at least two hours before your initial pickup time and then place a new booking. This decision may result in a different price for your new booking.
Please note, changes may incur delays on busy nights. Late rescheduling, cancellation or waiting fees apply.

We can pick you up from anywhere around your Metropolitan Area. However, there is a small surcharge for a pick-up made from a greater distance than 15KM from CBD. Journeys made outside of Metropolitan areas need to either have a pickup or destination point in the Metropolitan area.
